Location: RAF Northolt

Date: 3rd September, 2009

The fourth Nightshoot of the year was, once again, badly affected by last-minute cancellations. the Diamond Star went unserviceable on an air test in the morning, a planned visit from a Tornado GR4 was scrubbed and only one Tucano from a planned pair arrived. that said, as with the June Photocall, it was another unplanned attendee which stole the show. A Brazilian Air Force ERJ arrived after the event had started and, after due negotiation with the crew, photography was allowed. What did make it though, was pretty nice - a Fly Navy Hawk with RAF-counterpart from 208 Squadron at Valley, a 76 Squadron Tucano (possibly a first public appearance in the country) and a Met Police EC135 which arrived and departed during the evening. The sky also played its part with some great colours and cloud formations.
