Coningsby hosted the annual RAF fast jet display authorisation day this year. The purpose is to gain the approval of the Air Officer Commanding No 1 Group for the display routine prior to the forthcoming season. The day started with the Battle of Britain Memorial Display and moved to the fast jets after lunch.
