Location: World Aerobatic Championships and British Touring Cars Qualifying, Silverstone

Date: 29th August, 2009

Something very different. The World Aerobatic Championships were in th UK for the first time since 1986. Aftwer a week of competition, the Saturday would feature the competition for the Freestyle title follwed by a small air display of more traditional acts. Interspersed throughout the day would be on-track action with qualifying for Sunday's races in the British Touring Car Championship. There aren't many shots of the aerobatic competion as the restrictions on height and display lines put many of the competitors so far away that photography was nigh on impossible.
