The British Speedway Grand Prix must be one of the noisiest sporting events in the world! With over 40,000 fans cheering their favourite riders (many armed with the dreaded air horn) it is an event with a fantastic atmosphere. This year's meeting had plenty of crashes and controversy as the Polish referee made some awful decisions but Jason Crump managed to come through and continue his recent good form to win an exciting final from Greg Hancock.
Pre-meeting entertainment was privided by a trio of freestyle motorcyclists.
