Location: \RAF Northolt Families Day with Arrivals and Departures
Date: 5th to 8th June, 2009
A change to the weekend this year as access to see the arrivals and departures either side of the Sunday Photocall was given by the station. That said, the weather on both days was, on the whole, awful for photography with thick, dull cloud present. As will be seen with much of this year's airshow season, star items were hard to come by, but we had aircraft that didn't make the bigger shows. Step forward the Dutch Gulfstream and PC-7s, the Meteor (again), Lakenheath HH-60 and Bronco. But two non-photocall movements made everyone happy - an 8 Flight A109 and new Dauphin (complete with made-for-spotters departure). Monday also brought one of the Czech Air Force A319s in just as the morning ended.

Then F3 is due to be retired this year. Making a final appearance was 111 Squadron jet ZE936/HE.
