Location: Zurich Kloten Airport, Switzerland

Date: 30 January, 2010

Switzerland in the middle of winter can only mean one thing - snow! Fortunately, it held off for the best part of the day, but eventually arrived as the sunset ihn sokme style after threatening at various points throughtout the afternoon. The visit itself was to see the aircraft gathered for the annual World Economic Forum at nearby Davos. Unfortunately, many had departed by the time we started our tour, but ramp access at any airport is not to be sniffed at under any circumstances, really. As for what we saw, the smaller European stuff such as the Dash 8s from Bosnia and Croatia looked nice in the morning sun and the Edelweiss scheme is a cracker. The WEF aircraft are on the second page.
