Location: London Heathrow Airport

Date: 24th and 31st May, 2009

A tryout for a couple of different locations for 09R departures. The first was a little too far away (but did give a slightly different angle on stuff turning sharp right such as the Virgin A340 and 747 departures). The second location was for 09L arrivals in the evening when the sun has crossed the runways. It did give some nice, long shadows but nothing out of the ordinary, really. As for the aircraft, this set provides my only images of a Gulf Air B777-300; there are two A310s on passenger duties - one PIA and the the good old BIMAN, an Alitalia MD80 painted in their new colours and an EVA Air B777-300ER.
